30th March Holiday 2022: The state government (West Bengal Govt.) Gave good news for Govt. Employees. All government offices will be closed on the day just before the end of the financial year.
Because, on the occasion of Harichand Thakur’s birth anniversary (Harichand Thakur birth Anniversary), the state government has announced a public holiday (Govt. Holiday) on Wednesday, March 30.

30th March Holiday; Birthday Date of Harichand Tagore:
In 2020, on the birth anniversary of Guruchand-Harichand Tagore, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced a public holiday in the state. Earlier, leave was given on the occasion of Harichand Tagore’s birthday on April 10. But on the thirteenth day of Madhukrishna, Harichand Thakur’s birth anniversary is celebrated. Therefore, instead of April 10, March 30 was declared a public holiday (Govt. Holiday). The state government announced this by issuing a notification on Friday.
