According to another report, Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel and Vodafone are working on open RNA. They are basically working on 5G upgrades through open RNA architecture. Open RAN technology will be included in the Make in India campaign launched by the central government.

The ORAN model is a very attractive model for mobile communications providers in the case of 5G networks. Currently, ORAN is not started that way among private companies. Currently almost all mobile communication providers use single vendor technology. With the introduction of Open RAN or ORAN technology, every company will be able to implement 5G very easily. This is because there are a number of issues involved in providing 5G services using single vendor technology. But ORAN technology will not have those problems. Because ORAN technology can provide 5G service by changing a few technologies in the tower antenna.
