Kanyashree
The Kanyashree Project is an initiative taken by the Government of West Bengal to improve the lives and conditions of girls by providing cash assistance to economically backward families so that no family arranges the marriage of their daughter before the age of eighteen due to economic difficulties.
Kanyashree One- 13 to 18-year-old girls have to pay Rs.1000 / – per annum (studying in 8th class or every year that they are studying, if they are unmarried at that time).

Has announced a one-time grant of Rs 25,000 for the adult daughters of financially distressed families. It has been observed that these families are often forced to borrow money at very high-interest rates during the marriage of girls. This grant is given in the name of the Rupashree Project. The goal of this project is to solve the financial problems of poor families during the marriage of girls. The government has allocated Tk 1,500 crore for this project. Those families whose income is less than one and a half lakh rupees can apply. However, the government will pay for this project once. Applications can be made through the government at the door.
Food companion
If Aadhaar or mobile number is not attached with the ration card. Or if you don’t get a new digital ration card, you can go to the government at the door and inform the government officials so that they can help.
Educationist
Scholarships of Rs. 800 per annum are available for Scheduled Caste and Indigenous students from Class V to VIII. You have to go to the government camp at the door and take the form to get the benefit of this project.

The West Bengal government has started a new project with people with disabilities in mind. Through this scheme, persons with disabilities can get a monthly pension of Rs.1000.
