MAKAUT International e-Assessment Award 2022: The state’s Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology has come up with a way to make Tokatuki impossible even with online exams.
That innovation in the use of artificial intelligence (AI) brought international recognition to MAKAUT.

MAKAUT has received this year’s e-assessment international award. Experts selected the final three nominations from a list of 45 nominations from around the world, including India. The state university of technology won the award for the best among them. The results were announced on June 21 in London.
After receiving the ‘Best Semi-Assessment Project Award 2022’, MAKAUT’s Vice-Chancellor Professor Saikat Maitra said, “We have taken the final test using artificial intelligence.
No student has resorted to dishonest methods even after taking the exam online at home. That is why this award. We are proud. This award will also inspire other universities in the country. ”
What is the new ‘Online Examination System?
In this year 1 lakh 60 thousand graduates have taken the final exam online from MAKAUT. The university authorities did not allow anyone to use AI in this examination system.
In addition to India, universities from many countries around the world take part in the ‘Summative Assessment Project’ section in England.
“The exam will be in MCQ format. When the college opens, the students will go to their college lab and take the exam. The whole exam will be on computer. There will be questions number one and two. There will be three types of questions, easy, medium and difficult.”

How AI Works in this online examination system?
In addition to testing, technology has also entered MAKAUT in reading.

“We applied the technology to the evaluation system before the supermarket,” said Shubhashis Dutta, MAKAUT’s test controller. Later new methods were invented. We will try to bring more innovation to this system in the future.
