Maulana Azad Scholarship 2022: Maulana Azad Education Foundation (MAEF) awarded by the Ministry of Minorities under the Central Government. This Maulana Azad Scholarship is four types –
Pre-Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities (I to X Class)
Post-Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities (XI, XII, and Polytechnic)

Eligibility Criteria:
What are the eligibility criteria for the Maulana Azad Scholarship –in detail below;
Pre-Matric Scholarships Scheme:
- Must be students of minority communities i.e. Muslims, Christians, Jains, Sikhs, Persians.
- Must read between class 1 to class 10.
- Must get a minimum of 50% marks in the previous examination.
- The annual income of the family should be 1 lakh rupees or less.
Post-Matric Scholarships Scheme:
- Must be students of minority communities i.e. Muslims, Christians, Jains, Sikhs, Persians.
- Must be studied in class XI and XII.
- Must get minimum 50% marks in previous exam.
- The annual income of the family should be 2 lakh rupees or less.
BEGUM HAZRAT MAHAL NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP:
- The scholarships are given to students from minority communities i.e. Muslims, Christians, Jains, Buddhists, Sikhs, Persians.
- Must be studying in ninth to twelfth class.
- Must get 50% or more of the total marks of the previous examination.
- The annual income of the family should be less than 2 lakh rupees.

- Passport size photo
- Copy of school verification form attested by school principal
- Copy of ‘Attested Marksheet’ of the last aptitude test
- Parental income certificate
- Certificate of self-certified minority community
- Self-certified copy of the first page of the bank passbook
- Copy of Aadhaar card
- Residency certificate
- Disability certificate, if applicable
- NET / JRF award letter If offer letter is not received, copy of mark sheet
- Copy of postgraduate degree marksheet
