New Traffic Rule 2022: If you make a mistake after wearing a helmet, you may have to pay a fine: –
1. If the driver is wearing a helmet but the straps of the helmet are not open or tied, then a fine of Rs.1000 will be imposed.
2. The driver’s helmet must have BIS certification or a similar mark on it. If not, he will have to pay a fine of 1000 rupees.
3. If a driver wearing a helmet tries to break the traffic rules despite having a red light, he will have to pay a fine of Rs 2,000.
4. If the driver overloads his bike and takes it out on the road, he will have to pay a fine of Rs 20,000. Not only that. The driver may have to pay an additional fine of Rs 2,000 per tonne.
