“The Board had issued notification for the recruitment of 16500 vacant posts through the Primary Tet of 2014. The TET candidates of 2014 complained to the plaintiffs that 6 questions were incorrect in the question paper of the 2014 TET exam.

And for that reason, despite the fact that 6 questions were wrong that year, many TET candidates passed the exam and got the job, but many were deprived of the correct answer. Later, the Calcutta High Court said in this context, those who answered those 6 questions had to give full marks. The West Bengal Board of Primary Education (WBBPE) has started the recruitment work in compliance with the court order.
Meanwhile, Board Chairman Manik Babu said the recruitment of court petitioners has already started. Many of them have received appointment letters. There are still 1,050 vacancies in the High Court for litigants.
On the other hand, in 2014, many job seekers filed a case in the Calcutta High Court due to 6 questions being wrong and the Calcutta High Court said that all the job seekers who have filed a case will get the full number of these questions. Following the court’s order, the West Bengal Primary Education Board has finally completed the recruitment process.
